Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sets the sterile environment and maintains the sterile field during procedures.
• Assists in patient positioning and transport as needed.
• Assists on all types of procedures for patients of all ages to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality care.
• Prepares, checks, and monitors medications and dressings; handles specimens.
• Preceptor for staff, new grads, and new hires; participates in staff education.
• Assists with stocking medical supplies to ensure availability; supports teamwork and positive relationships.
• Participates in organization-wide quality improvement and performance improvement activities.
