Full Time Surgical/Scrub Technician – Summit Surgical Center, Fresno, CA

Pay Range: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors, including qualifications and experience.

No call, weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities

The Surgical/Scrub Technician scrubs for surgical procedures, maintains a sterile field, prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment, supports the surgery center's philosophy, objectives, and goals, and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certification required by state and/or the center.
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation.
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient.
• Excellent teamwork skills and strong communication skills to collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians.
