Job summary

US Eye in Naples, FL is seeking a skilled PRN Scrub Tech to join our surgical team. You will assist surgeons by maintaining a sterile field, passing instruments, and ensuring supplies are ready for procedures.

The role requires proven scrub tech experience, knowledge of sterile techniques, and the ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment. CST certification is preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as scrub tech or surgical technologist.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• CST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Ensure all surgical instruments are properly sterilized and accounted for before and after procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide efficient and safe patient care.
• Perform inventory checks and restock supplies as needed.
