Job summary

Eye Surgery Center of New Albany is seeking a Scrub Technician / Surgical Technician (PRN) to support our operating room team. You will assist in surgical operations under supervision, prepare the OR, and ensure instruments and supplies are ready for procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong customer service, and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting. Training will be provided, with no late nights or weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of hospital main operating room experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and strong customer service abilities.
• Excited to learn and grow in an OR environment.
• BLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in surgical operations under supervision of surgeons and nurses.
• Prepares operating room and instruments for procedures.
• Ensures equipment and supplies are available and sterile.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and safe patient care in the OR.
• Shares in ongoing education and quality improvement activities.
