Job summary

Center For Sight in Naples, FL is seeking a skilled PRN Scrub Tech to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will have scrub experience and assist surgeons by maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring instruments and supplies are ready.

Responsibilities include preparing ORs, passing instruments during procedures, maintaining sterile technique, and ensuring instruments are tracked before and after use. This role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a scrub technician or surgical technologist.
• Knowledge of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Certification as a CST preferred.
• Flexibility to work PRN (as needed) shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by passing instruments and supplies.
• Maintain sterile field and infection control protocols.
• Ensure all surgical instruments are sterilized and accounted for before and after procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to provide efficient and safe patient care.
• Perform inventory checks and restock supplies as needed.
