CGH Medical Center in Sterling is seeking a dedicated scrub tech to support surgeons and OR staff under supervision. You’ll help prepare the operating room, assist with instrumentation, and ensure sterile fields throughout procedures.

Requirements include scrub tech certification or program graduation, with certification to be maintained and completed within 12 months of employment. Competitive benefits and growth opportunities with a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• Must have scrub tech certification or be a graduate of a scrub tech program.
• Certification must be maintained and completed within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Secure equipment and instrumentation for operative cases.
• Maintain sterile field and address breaches promptly.
• Assist with pre- and post-surgery counts for accuracy.
• Assist in patient positioning, lighting, and equipment operation.
• Hand off instrumentation to surgeon and team as needed.
• Assist with dressings and bandages as required.
• Prepare instruments/trays for decontamination after surgery.
• Turnover room and restock supplies as needed.
