This full-time position offers 40 hours per week with varying shifts and on-call expectations. Requires a scrub tech certification or scrub tech program graduate with certification within 12 months; benefits included.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have a scrub tech certification or be a graduate of a scrub tech program.
• Certification must be maintained and obtained within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Secure equipment and instrumentation for operative cases.
• Maintain sterile field and address breaches promptly.
• Assist with pre-surgery and post-surgery counts for accuracy.
• Assist in patient positioning and lighting adjustments.
• Hand off instrumentation to surgeon or assistant.
• Assist with dressings and bandages as needed.
• Prepare instruments/trays for decontamination after surgery.
• Restock and turnover the operating room as needed.
