The role involves monitoring PAR levels of surgical instruments and pain management supplies, cleaning and sterilizing instruments, and participating in staff meetings and performance improvement activities. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, Surgical Technician Certification, 1 year of experience, and current BLS Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent.
• Surgical Technician Certification required.
• Must have 1 year of experience.
• Current BLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with patients and family.
• Provide patient with explanations and verbal reassurance, as necessary.
• Notify appropriate licensed personnel when patient complains of pain.
• Adapt procedures to meet individual needs of infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients for treatment.
