Job summary

GetHired, Inc. is seeking a Surgical Scrub Tech to support the operating room team. This role focuses on aseptic technique, assisting surgeons, and ensuring rapid turnover between procedures while aiding nursing staff in delivering quality patient care.

Responsibilities include reviewing cases for supplies, maintaining sterile fields, and ensuring patient safety, with emphasis on adherence to policy, PPE, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology school.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assists in providing optimal patient care through planning and implementation of surgical procedures.
• Reviews assigned cases prior workday to ensure necessary supplies and equipment.
• Maintains aseptic technique during procedures and while preparing sterile field.
• Utilizes surgeon's preference cards to provide required supplies for each case.
• Assists with turnover of rooms between cases and orientation of new staff.
