Job summary

The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, completion of an accredited surgical technology program (or be in last quarter), at least 1 year scrub tech experience, and current BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; completion of a surgical technology program or nearing completion in scrub tech program.
• One year scrub tech experience; education may substitute for experience.
• Current BLS certification required; ortho education/training per policy.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provides nursing care and completes delegated tasks for all patient categories.
• Follows individualized plan of care and collects data related to patient needs and responses.
• Provides care per care plan and standards; must be able to work while on call.
