Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical/vocational school preferred.
• Previous sterile processing technician experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred; CSPDT or CRCST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives soiled instruments from surgery and prepares them for sterilization.
• Cleans, disinfects, inspects, and tracks instruments and equipment.
• Maintains records of sterilization and stock levels for nursing units.
• Assists with on-call duties and department scheduling.
