Job summary

Marquette General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Surgical Scrub Tech to join our operating team in Marquette, MI. This role supports the surgical suite, assists with patient handling, instrument accounting and specimen processing in a demanding, team-based environment.

You will participate in on-call coverage and room turnover, with a focus on patient safety and efficient operations. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Certified Surgical Technology Program.
• On-call availability and ability to work a 12-hour shift.
• 1 year related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
• Passes instruments to physician during surgery and tracks instruments.
• Receives and processes specimens for the laboratory.
• Performs on call services as requested.
• Facilitates room turnovers and assists with orientation/training.
