Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures according to surgeon and facility guidelines.
• Coordinate operating room schedules and maintain surgery calendars.
• Obtain and track patient documentation and clinical clearances.
• Coordinate preoperative testing appointments and ensure completion.
• Prepare and organize surgical charts for provider and anesthesia review.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
• Participate in quality improvement activities to reduce delays and cancellations.
