Job summary

Qualifications

• Clerical/computer experience.
• Scheduling experience preferred.
• Experience in a medical setting preferred.
• Medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter and update data in the OR scheduling system.
• Coordinate procedures and ensure clinical coding information is collected for the surgery schedule.
• Schedule procedures according to guidelines and verify tentative schedules.
• Post add-on and emergency cases to the scheduling system as required.
• Print daily operating room schedules and communicate with staff to assign necessary staff.
