Job summary

Rome Health is seeking a Scheduler to join our medical center team. The role involves clerical support to ensure accurate scheduling and patient appointments, with duties including reception coverage and directing calls.

You will train in Paragon, patient registration, and resource scheduling, gaining fluency in critical hospital processes. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, computer and math skills, and knowledge of medical terminology; BLS and safe-patient handling training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical terminology is a plus.
• BLS and de-escalation training are beneficial.
• Safe patient handling training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to the compliance plan, policies and procedures
• Gives a quality level of service to patients
• Answers, screens and routes all outside calls to appropriate areas
• Will train to become fluent in paragon, patient registration and resource scheduling
• Covers reception for check in and check out when necessary
• Other duties as listed in the job description
