MAJOR FUNCTION:The Surgical Scheduler performs standardized scheduling and business operations in support of Surgical and Interventional Business Services, a centralized department responsible for coordinating surgical, interventional radiology, and cardiology procedures across all Medical Centers and the Vineland Endoscopy Center. This role independently manages procedural scheduling activities, including patient coordination, verification of required documentation, and communication with clinical teams to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to established workflows. The Surgical Scheduler serves as a primary point of contact for patients throughout the procedural process and supports a consistent, high-quality patient experience.QUALIFICATIONS:Education & Experience:Minimum 1 year experience in a clinical hospital role or similar clerical role in a physician practice setting required.
