Job summary

Inspira Health is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to work under direct supervision, coordinating and providing technical support to anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and formal surgical technology training or two years’ experience in OR settings.

Proficiency in hospital computer systems and sterile technique is essential. Certification in BLS within 6 months of hire is expected, with potential preference for Certified Anesthesia

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with completion of a formal surgical technology program recognized by CAAHEP or equivalent.
• Two to three years’ experience as an anesthesia technician or closely related OR role is required or preferred.
• Proficiency in departmental computer systems and databases; ability to use all hospital systems efficiently.

MAJOR FUNCTION:Under direct supervision, is responsible for coordinating and providing technical support to the Anesthesiologists and Nurse Anesthetists.QUALIFICATION:Education & Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent required.Completion of a formal surgical technology training program recognized by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or equivalent.
