Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Willingness to provide and support a positive Jefferson Experience for all patients and/or visitors.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Collect and review patient insurance information including pre-authorizations and referrals before scheduled procedures.
• Completes pre-procedure phone calls and confirms appointment times with patients.
• Provides patient with all necessary pre-operative instructions.
• Adheres to HIPAA privacy and security requirements and regulatory standards.
