Responsibilities

• Greet callers warmly and provide courteous service.
• Serve as the first point of contact for patients at the practice.
• Use sound judgment when handling calls involving sensitive medical information.
• Answer calls within three to four rings.
• Accurately schedule appointments and update demographics and insurance information.
• Confirm, cancel, reschedule and update patient appointments as requested.
• Use the EMR system to align physician availability with patient needs and preferences.
• Schedule appointments according to clinic guidelines and maintain accurate records.
• Communicate with physicians and staff about patient concerns related to scheduling.
• Assist with transferring records and other requests from other medical offices.
