Responsibilities

• Collaborates with OR and GI Endoscopy Unit to schedule cases, coordinating date/time and avoiding conflicts.
• Gathers complete patient and procedure information for scheduling.
• Prepares and distributes schedules according to established time frames.
• Obtains pre-certifications from insurance carriers to facilitate max utilization.
• Handles patient problems/complaints promptly and coordinates follow-up care information.
