Job summary

PACM, Inc. in Hamden, CT is seeking a Surgical Scheduler for the PACT MSO Gastroenterology Center. The role schedules all patient surgeries or procedures and coordinates with providers to ensure timely access.

The schedule runs Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm; candidates should have 1–2 years of surgical scheduling experience and demonstrated experience with EHR systems. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.

• 1–2 years of procedure or surgical scheduling experience required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule all patient surgeries or procedures for the practice.
• Obtain demographic information and history to book appointments according to provider guidelines.
• Set up insurance information and coordinate with scheduling guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality of medical, financial, or sensitive information.
