Trinity Health at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA seeks a Surgical Scheduler for a full-time, day-shift role.

The scheduler will coordinate patient testing, obtain insurance and physician information, and guide patients through test and procedure instructions to ensure timely care. In this on-site position, you will communicate billing policies, support departments, and resolve scheduling issues while educating staff on system updates and processes.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1+ years of experience in scheduling or a related field is required.

Responsabilidades

• Obtains the patient’s name, schedules the patient for ordered procedures, obtains ordering physician and insurance information, and provides patient with necessary instructions for ordered test/procedure.
• Communicates the Medical Center’s billing policies and procedures as well as any physician billing practices.
• Communicates with both the patient and appropriate departments regarding concerns and issues. Responds promptly to all inquiries.
• Communicates and educates staff with regard to system and scheduling updates.
• Investigates and resolves any issues involving insurance payors that may or may not provide capitated services.
