Job summary

Frederick - PARTNER VETERINARY EMERGENCY AND SPECIAL CENTER in Frederick, MD is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our surgical team. The RVT will assist with anesthesia, prepare patients for procedures, and maintain sterile technique.

Our team provides training, advancement opportunities, wellness PTO after 90 days, signing bonus, relocation assistance, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year veterinary technician experience.
• Veterinary ER or Urgent Care experience preferred.
• Credentialed Technician in good standing in your current state and eligible to transfer registration to Maryland.
• Knowledge and dedication to high standard anesthesia and patient care practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist high-caliber anesthesia and surgical procedures.
• Scrub into surgical procedures and assist the surgeon.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with instrument sterilization and surgical pack preparation.
• Communicate with clients and referring community; support surgery team with instrument prep and medical records.
