Job summary

Partner Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center in Frederick, MD is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our ER and specialty team. The RVT will assist with anesthesia, surgical prep, instrument handling, and maintain sterile technique while supporting veterinarians and clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year veterinary technician experience
• ER or Urgent Care experience preferred
• Credentialed Technician in good standing in your state
• Knowledge of anesthesia and patient care practices
• Curious and motivated energy, team collaboration across Partner network

Responsibilities

• Assist with anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Scrub into surgeries and provide instruments
• Maintain sterile technique and prepare surgical packs
• Sterilize instruments and manage OR turnover
• Communicate with clients and document medical records
