Job summary

PetVet Care Centers’ Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Thousand Oaks, CA, is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician - Surgery to join our team. Earn a sign-on bonus up to $2,000 based on experience and help provide exceptional surgical care and patient service.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-operative nursing, assisting during procedures, maintaining records, and communicating with clients about patient status.

Qualifications

• Surgery experience preferred for clinical routine.
• Active RVT license required for eligibility.
• High school diploma or GED required as minimum education.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements, conducting examinations and diagnostic procedures, and assisting during surgery.
• Provide nursing care, assist with feeding and care, and maintain medical records.
• Maintain a safe, sterile environment, handle supplies, and support triage and discharge of patients.
