Job summary

Partner Veterinary is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our Frederick, MD team. The role focuses on anesthesia and surgical preparation, with opportunities for rapid skill advancement through our Learning and Development Department and VTS mentorship.

You will work with a supportive team, participate in high-caliber procedures, and contribute to client communication and care. Competitive hourly pay, signing bonus, and extensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year veterinary technician experience.
• ER or Urgent Care experience is preferred.
• Credentialed Technician in good standing and eligible to transfer to Maryland.
• Knowledge and dedication to high standard anesthesia and patient care practices.
• Curious and motivated energy.
• Interest in collaborating with Partner network teams.

Responsibilities

• PVESC Surgical RVT emphasizes high caliber anesthesia and preparing patients for surgery.
• Scrub into surgical procedures to assist the surgeon and maintain sterile technique.
• Anticipate surgical needs and provide instruments, sutures, and materials.
• Assist with instrument sterilization, surgical pack prep, and OR turnover.
• Communicate with clients and referring community; support the surgery team with records.
