Job summary

Globus Medical is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install and service medical devices at hospital sites across the Northwest and beyond. You will lead on-site installations, perform acceptance testing, and diagnose issues to ensure optimal performance per specifications.

The role requires 5+ years in field service for medical devices, X-ray experience, GMP/ISO knowledge, and strong Excel skills. Travel is required; independence and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required; science or engineering degree preferred.
• 5+ years of Field Service Engineer experience in medical devices.
• X-ray experience across general radiography, fluoroscopy, DR, C-arms preferred.
• Experience with GMP and ISO standards as well as healthcare capital equipment.
• Ability to access hospital settings and keep all vendor requirements up to date.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
• Strong knowledge of quality and/or reliability engineering is a plus.
• Ability to travel on short notice and provide service in assigned geography.
• Self-starter; able to work independently and as a key contributor in small teams.
• Excellent oral, written, and graphical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan service for Globus Medical products at customer locations.
• Install Globus Medical product on-site at hospitals in accordance with installation procedures.
• Perform site acceptance testing to demonstrate operational performance per specs and tests.
• Respond to customer issues/complaints by diagnosing problems and repairing or replacing products.
• Perform preventive maintenance on-site at existing customer facilities.
• Update products to resolve issues and enhance system capabilities.
• Document customer feedback, issues, and complaints per company procedures.
• Document results of all customer visits, including installation and test reports.
• Participate in and manage returned material authorization (RMA) processing.
• National and possible international travel in support of equipment; as deployment grows travel may decrease.
• Uphold Code of Conduct, AdvaMed/MedTech codes, and all company policies.
