Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a registered nurse to provide safe bedside care in a busy hospital setting in Nevada. The role includes professional leadership and support to the healthcare team, guided by Patient Centered Care principles and a commitment to Service Excellence.

Candidates should have a BSN preferred, current Nevada RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as required. Prior acute care experience or specialty training within 6 months of hire is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current Nevada RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as department requires.
• One-year acute care experience or completion of specialty training within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Apply Patient Centered Care principles as the foundation of nursing care.
• Oversee and guide staff under your supervision and demonstrate Service Excellence.
