Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas. The RN provides safe, competent nursing care and supports the healthcare team within a fast-paced acute care setting.

Responsibilities include overseeing staff, upholding patient-centered care foundations, and ensuring adherence to policies and standards. Current Nevada RN licensure and BLS are required, with ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable to unit needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• One year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP depending on facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies and standards.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee and guide staff under supervision and demonstrate service excellence.
