Job summary

The Valley Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in a busy hospital setting in Nevada. You will lead and support the healthcare team while upholding patient-centered care principles and service excellence.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, Nevada RN license, BLS, and specialty certifications as required. A BSN is preferred, with at least one year of acute care experience or completion of a specialty

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult) or PALS/NRP as required by department.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s).

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
