Job summary

Eyecare Partners Surgery Center seeks a registered nurse (RN) to assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care in Pre-Op, Post-Op and PACU settings. You will ensure high-quality patient care, maintain safety, and support a compliant clinical environment within the ASC.

The role requires BLS, an active RN license in Kansas, and at least one year in a surgical/ASC or related setting. Collaboration with physicians and staff is essential for optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification is required.
• RN license in the state where the worksite is located.
• One year of nursing experience in surgical, ASC, Pre/Post-Op, PACU or OR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct patient care in an operating room.
• Ensure proper techniques are used according to standards of practice.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient rights knowledge.
• Coordinate and deliver nursing care with accountability.
• Train new staff when needed.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians and staff.
