Job summary

Kansas Surgery & Recovery Center is seeking a Post-Op RN to plan, execute, direct and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients in a high‑quality setting.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited nursing school, an active Kansas RN license, BLS, PALS, and ACLS (or ability to obtain ACLS within 12 months). Experience in Preop or PACU is preferred, with a 4‑day schedule and no weekend or on‑call duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved or accredited School of Registered Nursing.
• Current RN license issued by the State of Kansas.
• Current BLS certification required.
• PALS certification required in Post-op.
• ACLS or ALS certification required; will allow applicant 12 months to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op, PACU, Surgical or Critical Care experience.

Responsibilities

• Post OP RN plans, executes, directs and evaluates nursing care for surgical patients.
• Prepares and organizes environment, equipment and supplies for recovery after surgery.
• Ensures safe and efficient patient care during the postoperative period.
