The Valley Health System (VHS) seeks an experienced RN to provide safe, competent nursing care in a busy hospital setting. You will lead the healthcare team and support patient-centered care with a strong emphasis on teamwork and service excellence.

Education/licensing: graduate of an accredited nursing program; Nevada RN license; BSN preferred; current BLS, ACLS, PALS/NRP as required. At least one year acute care experience or completion of a specialty program within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.
• One-year acute care experience or successful completion of an approved specialty course within 6 months of hire.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department. Other certification as may be required by facility, specialty, or department.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.
• An RN graduate is a nurse who has completed a course of study at a school of nursing and is eligible for the NCLEX.
