Job summary

The Valley Health System’s Summerlin Hospital in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide safe, compassionate care for patients in a busy hospital setting. You will lead and support the healthcare team while adhering to patient-centered care standards.

Requirements include an RN license in Nevada, BLS, ACLS/PALS or NRP as required, and a BSN preferred. A 1-year acute care background is desired.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course/ or equivalent within 6 months of hire. BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provide professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees under supervision; demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
