Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Surgery. This in-person, full-time days role supports the operating room team with diverse procedures and a fast-paced environment, delivering safe, high-quality patient care and teamwork across surgical disciplines.

You will perform accurate patient assessments, initiate nursing interventions, provide age- and condition-appropriate care, and ensure precise documentation and care plans.

Qualifications

• Current state RN license
• Associate or Bachelorfs degree in Nursing
• BLS within 30 days of hire
• ACLS and PALS within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred
• ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Performs accurate and thorough patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Initiates appropriate nursing interventions based on assessment findings
• Provides age- and condition-appropriate nursing care
• Completes timely and accurate documentation supporting medical necessity in the medical record
• Develops, implements, and revises interdisciplinary care plans for each patient
