Qualifications

• RN licensure required; BLS required; additional certifications may be required depending upon unit.
• Minimum 5 years of medical-surgical, ICU, or specialty nursing clinical and/or teaching experience in acute care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a mentorship model for nursing staff.
• Provide rounds to support and guide nurses and oversee less experienced staff.
• Deliver nursing education lectures and case studies.
• Collaborate with unit Educators, Preceptors, and Nursing Leadership to improve patient outcomes.
• Assist in delivering new clinical staff orientation and mentor career development.
