Job summary

Adventist Health Lodi Memorial is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse First Assistant to organize and facilitate patient care in the Operating Room. The role coordinates care between surgeon, anesthesiologist, and staff, acting as a first assistant during surgical procedures for which privileges have been granted.

Required RN licensure in the state, with RNFA/CNOR certifications as specified; BLS/CPR and CNOR are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of practice is required.
• RNFA and CNOR certifications are preferred/required as stated.

Responsibilities

• Performs circulating and scrubbing duties.
• Assists with patient transfer, positioning, prepping and draping.
• Maintains sterile field and aseptic technique throughout procedures.
• Documents nursing diagnoses, care plans and patient responses.
• Mentors and leads staff to improve patient care and efficiency.
