Job summary

Enloe Health is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant to render direct perioperative care as a first assistant to the surgeon in the OR and Labor & Delivery. The RNFA expands perioperative nursing responsibilities and works under surgeon supervision to implement the medical plan of care.

Requirements include 2 years perioperative experience, CA RN licensure, CPR, ACLS, CNOR, and PALS within 1 year. Salary is generous with a sign-on bonus and varied shifts, reflecting the patient-care needs

Qualifications

• Two years current perioperative experience
• Bachelor's or Master's in Nursing/Health field (preferred)
• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing
• Current CPR, ACLS, CNOR, and PALS within 1 year of employment

Responsibilities

• Render direct patient care as an RN First Assistant in the OR and Labor & Delivery
• Function as a First Assistant to the surgeon and supervise as required by staffing needs
• Coordinate patient care with the care team and uphold medical plan of care
• Provide care under surgeon supervision and maintain standards of practice
