Job summary

Clinical Management Consultants is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) to join a collaborative surgical team in Oregon. The role supports perioperative care, assisting surgeons, administering medications, documenting in the EMR, and ensuring patient safety throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Oregon RN license, BLS at hire, a nursing degree, and at least 9 months of RN experience plus 1 year circulating in OR settings; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active Oregon RN license required.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• At least 9 months RN experience and 1 year circulating experience in OR.
• Completion of an accredited OR preceptorship may qualify.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and prepare individualized perioperative plans.
• Assist with procedures and administer medications.
• Document in the EMR and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team before, during, and after surgery.
• Provide education and participate in discharge planning and quality improvement.
