Iowa Specialty Hospital is seeking a Surgery-Registered Nurse First Assistant for its Clarion and Belmond campuses. The role centers on direct patient care in the OR as Circulator and supporting surgeons during procedures.

Responsibilities include wound closure with stapling and suturing, applying skin adhesives, and participating in required call coverage. A CNOR, RNFA training, and ACLS/PALS/BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Iowa RN license and CNOR certification.
• RNFA program that meets AORN standards.
• ACLS, PALS and BLS certifications present.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the OR as Circulator.
• Assist surgeons on cases and independently perform wound closure (stapling, suturing, adhesives).
• Participate in call responsibilities.
