Saddleback Memorial Medical Center is hiring an RN, First Assistant for the OR to work in the Surgery Services department in a full-time capacity. The RNFA will participate in intra-operative patient care under the surgeon’s direction and collaborate with the surgical team.

Qualified candidates will have a nursing degree (BSN required, or MSN preferred), NPI number, and RNFA certification or training with preceptorship. A signing bonus is available for external hires meeting requirements.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required or Masters preferred.
• NPI Number from NPPES required.
• 1+ year RNFA experience preferred; or RNFA training with preceptorship.

Mansioni

• Uses the nursing process and AORN standards as a framework for patient care.
• Demonstrates leadership and serves as a link between the surgical suite and hospital; ensures continuity of care during intra-operative period.
• Directs unlicensed staff, assesses patients, plans care/interventions, and documents data.
