Job summary

Blessing Health System is hiring an RN FIRST ASSIST or SURGICAL TECH FIRST ASSIST/SURGICAL ASSISTANT for the operating room. This full-time, day-shift position offers a leadership role in care planning and direct perioperative nursing care in a high-volume setting.

The RNFA/STFA role carries competitive compensation, up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance for moves over 50 miles. Medical benefits and generous PTO are included through the Total Rewards plan.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a registered nursing program with active licensure.
• Two years experience as circulating RN and/or scrub nurse.
• Accredited RNFA training or enrollment in RNFA program.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient/family health problems and resources.
• Lead development and evaluation of the care plan by the nursing team.
• Provide technical nursing care and interventions to designated patients.
• Deliver services across neonate through geriatric ages with appropriate understanding.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal comms

RN experience as circulating scrub

Willingness to pursue RNFA program

Education

Graduate of RN School of Nursing

Complete Accredited RNFA Program
