ProMedica is seeking a Registered Nurse First Assistant at Bay Park Hospital in the Surgery department. The role is full-time with 40 hours weekly and daytime shifts.

The RNFA will lead perioperative care, coordinate with the surgical team, and implement nursing plans of care with emphasis on patient safety. Responsibilities include monitoring patient status, responding to clinical changes, and adhering to hospital policies.

Qualifikationen

• Education: Successfully completed a course in preparing the registered nurse as a first assistant in surgery.
• Skills: Must be able to differentiate colors. Must be able to input and retrieve information from computer.
• Years of Experience: 2 years of intraoperative clinical experience.
• License: Current RN licensure in the state in which you are hired.
• Certification: CPR certified. Current specialty certification required (CNOR) issued by the Certification Board Perioperative Nursing (CBPN).

Aufgaben

• The Registered Nurse First Assistant serves as the primary clinician with the surgical/medical plan and begins, implements, and evaluates a nursing plan of care.
• In this role, you will assess a patient’s status to anticipate and respond to clinical changes as well as recognize and take appropriate action in critical situations.
