Job summary

Empregara is seeking an RN First Assist to join the Operating Room team at RWJUH Somerset in New Jersey. This hourly position supports the surgical team and patient care from pre-op through post-op, working a day shift.

The RNFA-qualified candidate will bring current OR experience, a BSN, and at least three years of RNFA experience, with BLS and ACLS credentials. NJ RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school and RNFA program.
• Current Operating Room experience required.
• BSN degree completed.
• Three years RNFA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caring for patients with surgical needs and assisting during procedures.
• Evaluate and manage patients with surgical diseases and support the surgeon in the OR.
• Ensure seamless care between inpatient and outpatient settings.
