Harlingen Medical Center in Texas is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse to join the Surgical Services team, delivering safe, high-quality patient care throughout the perioperative experience. Responsibilities include circulating duties, patient positioning, accurate documentation and counts, infection prevention, and collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers and the rest of the surgical team.

Requires active RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS and at least one year perioperative experience;

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state (TX)
• Current BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) certifications
• Minimum of 1 year perioperative experience or on-the-job training
• CNOR certification and BSN degree preferred

Responsabilités

• Circulating duties and patient positioning
• Maintain sterile environment and accurate intraoperative documentation
• Coordinate care with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff
• Ensure infection prevention and safety standards and protect patient confidentiality
