Harlingen Medical Center is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for perioperative care in the Surgery Department. The role focuses on direct patient care through the full surgical experience, from pre-op to post-op, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesia teams to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities include circulating duties, patient positioning, documentation, and maintaining sterile technique while educating patients and families.

Formación

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required by hire.
• Minimum of one year perioperative experience.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Circulating duties and patient positioning during surgery.
• Maintain sterile environment and accurate surgical counts.
• Coordinate care with surgeons and anesthesia providers.
• Educate patients and families and ensure privacy and safety.
