Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Surgical Registered Nurse to coordinate and implement patient care in the perioperative setting, following organizational standards and policies. This role requires critical thinking and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Unencumbered RN license in Colorado or a compact state.
• BLS certification within six months of hire.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• PALS or ENPC within one year of hire.
• Two years of hospital nursing experience; OR experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on assessments to optimize outcomes.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions effectively.
• Collaborate across disciplines for coordinated care including transfers and discharges.
• Address barriers to communication considering psychosocial and cultural factors.
• Educate patients and families with tailored information.
• Delegate care to appropriate staff and precept students.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and decisive judgment in fast-paced settings.
• Ensure perioperative documentation readiness before surgery.
• Respond to emergencies per ACLS/PALS protocols.
• Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
