Job summary

We’re seeking a staff RN to join our hospital-based team at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital. This role utilizes specialized training and nursing care in a multidisciplinary environment to support patient-centered outcomes.

Responsibilities include prioritizing and delivering care, collaborating with colleagues, and upholding high standards of safety and quality in a dynamic clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required or obtained within five years of hire.
• Registered Nurse license (RN) in Washington State or multi-state licensure endorsed (MSL).
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification as required by department.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge and experience to deliver care following hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost effectiveness.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Advocate for ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.
