Job summary

JumpStart Games is seeking a dedicated perioperative nurse to manage pre- and post-operative care for ambulatory patients. You will organize the recovery environment, coordinate with anesthesia, and ensure safe discharge with clear post-op instructions.

The role requires active FL RN licensure with ACLS/PALS and at least one year in PACU or critical care, plus strong patient communication skills and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Nursing.
• Active Florida RN license and CPR/ACLS/PALS certification.
• Minimum 1 year PACU or Critical Care experience.
• Ability to communicate with surgical team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, direct and evaluate nursing care for surgical patients pre- and post-operatively.
• Prepare environment, equipment and supplies for perioperative care.
• Perform pre-admission assessments and convey medical history to anesthesiology.
• Monitor post-op patients, record vital signs and respond to adverse events.
