Sierra Donor Services is seeking a Surgical Technologist/Surgical Recovery Coordinator in West Sacramento, CA, for a full-time role. You will assist in surgical recovery, preservation, and packaging of organs, coordinating with surgeons and organ recovery teams.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of OR experience or is a recent graduate of a certified surgical technician program, ISOP Level 1, and strong computer and data-entry skills. Competitive benefits are offered.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years OR experience or recent grad of a certified surgical technician program required.
• ISOP Level 1 by completion of first year.
• Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications and data entry.

Mansioni

• Coordinates and assists in surgical recovery, preservation, and packaging of organs with surgeons/ coordinators.
• Manages renal preservation process including pumping and transport.
• Performs on-call responsibilities related to donor recovery.
• Coordinates organ allocation and transportation for transplantation/research.
• Coordinates fly outs and fly backs.
